Today, another milestone passed. Like Simon we can't believe it is a year since we walked out of the Hallamshire hospital knowing we had lost our beautiful daughter. We too think of her every day with tears in our hearts. Today, at Padley Gorge, more tears but the sun shone and we enjoyed a picnic with Simon, Ella, Amelia, Chris, Kerry and Tilly came too!! Simon, Lisa would be saying well done. You are doing a fantastic job with the girls - not sure about the tv though! We would also like to thank everyone who has helped us to get through this year. Those who have sent messages. Ella and Amelia whose energy keeps us on the go. Most of all our family, Chris, Kerry and Simon.

Simon, thank you for letting us in to your very special day of memories for Lisa. We think about you all so much and were aware of Lisa's birthday today. No doubt Ella and Amelia took things in their stride, which is a tribute to you Simon (and, of course Granny and Grandpa)who have all done absolutely everything possible to lessen their grief. Hope they really enjoy the party they were returning to! Lots of love from Peter and Helen.

Thanks for sharing the video of Lapland - it looked like fantastic fun! I always believed in Santa - now my belief has been proven! Ella's snowangels were particularly good - she will have to teach me how to do them sometime. Here's to 2009 - we both raised a glass for Lisa at midnight on NYE and know she's still with us all. We must get the diaries out and get you three down to see us sometime soon. Much love, Mark & Tam xxxx

Hi Simon, Ella and Amelia. We really enjoyed watching the video of your visit to Lapland but it did make us shiver. Loved all the pictures of the reindeer and Ella drawing semi-circles in the snow by lying in it! The video of the planting of Lisa's tree was very special and a much treasured moment. Our love to you all with much affection from Peter and Helen.

Hi Simon and girls.

I have just watched your video of Lisa's tree - so very moving and beautiful.

I think of you all the time and have cried so much for you all. I thought of you on your anniversary but didn't leave a message because I didn't know what would be the right thing to say. The love that you all have shared and continue to share is amazing and so evident in your photos and your wonderful tributes.

I didn't fill in a heart for Lisa but if I had I would have told you that my two strongest memories of her are a)On one Boxing Day we were so excited to watch Mary Poppins together and laughed beacuse we were supposed to be the adults! and b)How kind and compassionate you both were when we lost our precious Millie. Recieving a card a few months on saying "Still thinking of you" meant so much to me.

Take care . . .lots of love, Lisa. x

Thank you ever so much for letting us experience with you what must have been a very emotional day, but one which was such a fitting tribute to such a wonderful person as Lisa. I think about her every day and miss her so so much. There are so many things I want to talk to her about and have a giggle about. I hope you are all OK. Simon, you are doing a fantastic job with the girlies and Lisa would be so proud. The holiday sounds fab and is such a wonderful idea. You are all always in my thoughts Lots of love Rachael xxx

Our 1st message. A huge thank you to everyone who managed to write on a pink heart back in April. (We have only just felt able to coplete the book of hearts as per Lisa's wishes) As her parents, your wonderful comments have touched us deeply. It seemed appropriate to have the book completed for the tree planting day on Sunday. That was a truly poignant time for us all to be together as a family. The video clips and photos reflect your words on the hearts. Thank you again for your tributes. As her "girlies" grow up they will realise how much Lisa was loved by so many of you.

Thanks guys. It was a very special day...the music of Mr Weller adds to the video quite nicely I think.

It was so wonderful to be able to share in your special tree planting via the website. Although tears still stream down my face everytime I read your messages or watch your videos Padley Gorge is one of the most wonderful places in the Peaks and as a final resting place I could think of no better. It's so good to hear your news and I bet the girls will be so excited when they know they are going to Lapland - have a lot of fun and I hope your preparations for christmas go well. Thinking of you all often. Love Deborah, Damon and Ollie
